Refund & Cancellation Policy – MonkMagic

At MonkMagic Desserts Private Limited (“MonkMagic”, “we”, “our”), we work hard to ensure your orders reach you fresh, intact, and exactly as promised. Since many of our products are perishable, our refund and cancellation rules are slightly different from regular e-commerce. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order or purchasing a subscription.

1. Order Cancellation

A. Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order within 5 minutes of placing it, as long as it has not been prepared or dispatched.

Cancellations must be requested via:

  • WhatsApp support
  • Customer helpline (if applicable)

If approved, the amount will be refunded within 5–7 working days.

B. After Preparation / Dispatch

Once the order is prepared or handed to the delivery partner, it cannot be cancelled. No refund will be provided in this case.

2. Refund Policy

Because our products are perishable and temperature-sensitive:

A. Eligible Refunds

Refunds are issued only if:

  • The product received is damaged, melted, spoiled, or incorrect, AND
  • The complaint is raised within 2 hours of delivery, AND
  • Clear photo/video proof is provided.

B. Types of Resolutions

Depending on the issue, you may receive:

  • A replacement order
  • A refund to your original payment method
  • A credit voucher redeemable on your next purchase

MonkMagic reserves the right to choose the most suitable resolution.

C. Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Taste preference
  • Incorrect address entered by the customer
  • Customer not being available at the time of delivery
  • Order delay due to traffic, weather, or delivery partner issues
  • Melted products caused by delayed receipt after delivery
  • Orders that were consumed or partially consumed

3. Subscription Cancellation & Refunds

A. Subscription Billing

When you subscribe, you authorize automatic monthly billing.

B. Cancellation

You may cancel anytime before the next billing cycle. Cancellations made after a cycle has started will apply from the next month.

C. Subscription Refunds

We do not offer refunds for the ongoing month after subscription activation. No partial refunds for unused ice creams/products.

4. Replacement Policy

We may offer a replacement if:

  • You received the wrong item
  • Your product was damaged or spoiled upon arrival
  • The product packaging was tampered with

Replacements are subject to availability.

5. FMCG Products (Monk Fruit Sweetener, Spreads, etc.)

For packaged FMCG products:

  • Returns are not accepted once the package is opened.
  • Full replacement/refund is eligible only for damaged packaging, wrong product delivered, or spoiled product.

Issue must be raised within 24 hours of delivery, with images/videos.

6. How to Request Refunds or Replacements

Please share the following via WhatsApp or email:

  • Order ID
  • Registered mobile number
  • Photos/Videos showing the issue
  • Brief description of the problem

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be credited within 5–7 working days. Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.

8. Policy Updates

MonkMagic may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the latest version.
